A well designed and extensive bike tour, which leads around the Ski World Cup venue of 2001, Sankt Anton am Arlberg. As countless small changes have been made to the original route of the eponymous mountain bike marathon event, this tour no longer corresponds exactly with the actual marathon route. Nevertheless, the tour offers everything a mountain biker would expect of an extensive round tour. Most of the ascents have uphill gradients of between 11% and 14%. Only two sections present more extreme gradients. The maximum gradient of 29% awaits between the Rodelhütte and district of Moos. This steepness, however, can only be found along a short 50 metre section. At 19%, the incline gradient is much less in the Moosbach area, but this section is significantly longer and challenging with its gravelly 4 underground. The remainder of the route should not otherwise take you to your physical limits (depending, of course, on existing stamina levels). The route is also pretty unproblematic when it comes to technical challenges. The short single-track section rated S0 should also present no problems.
